Where to get

How to install
Just execute the executable file and press I Agree and Next till it is installed.

Available SARA options

  • Microsoft Teams – Fix problems with Teams Meeting add-in for Outlook and user presence.
  • Office – Troubleshoot issues related to Office Install, remove, activate or sign-in issues.
    • I get an error when I install Office
    • I can’t activate Office
    • I need to uninstall Office
  • OneDrive for Business – Fix sync and setup issues related to OneDrive for Business.
    • I can’t sync my files with OneDrive
    • I can’t install OneDrive
  • Dynamics 365 (online) – Get help with Outlook client integration.
  • Outlook on the web – Fix sign in or start up issues related to Outlook web. For example, I’m having trouble opening or signing in to Outlook on the web.
  • Advanced Diagnostics – Creates reports to help analyze Outlook, Office and Exchange Online issues.
  • Windows – Troubleshoot, Identify and fix Windows problems.
  • Outlook – Resolve over 10 different known Outlook issues on your computer.
    • Outlook won’t start
    • Outlook stops responding
    • Outlook keeps crashing
    • I can’t set up my Microsoft 365 email in Outlook

Tips to analyze a ROIScan log
If you aren't currently working with Microsoft on a support request, and you want to review the ROIScan log yourself, review the following details:
Aside from the title line, the ROIScan log is grouped into three sections: Computer, Review Items, and Products Inventory.

Computer
This section contains current user and operating system-specific data:
  1. Windows Installer Version
  2. Computer Name
  3. OS Details: OS Name, Service pack, Version, Codepage, Country/Region Code, Language as LCID, 64-bit or 32-bit
  4. Current User: Username, IsAdmin, SID.
  5. Logfile Name
  6. ROI Script Build
Note: Data in this section is collected only. No additional analysis is done.

Review items
This section includes three categories of review items to notify you about anything in the “Products Inventory” section that requires attention:
  1. Note
  2. Warning
  3. Error
Products Inventory
This section contains data about each Office product that is installed on the computer where the ROIScan script is executed. For Click-To-Run installations, Products Inventory also lists shared properties, such as Shared Computer Licensing and SCLCacheOverride.
