Updating the license count in your tenant

This short guide is designed to help you increase or decrease the number of licenses in your tenant. Here we describe step by step all the actions you need on the portal.

1.       Go to the website https://portal.o365hq.com/ and log in using your work account details at the top right corner.


2.       Navigate to the "Products" tab located at the top of the screen (refer to the accompanying screenshot for visual guidance).



3.       On the displayed page, you will find a list of your licenses, including details such as quantity, purchase date, expiration date, and cost. (you can switch to view as per your wish)

4.       Locate the "Manage Product" action bar corresponding to the license for which you wish to adjust the quantity (see the screenshot for reference).


5.       In the window that opens, you can use the "-" and "+" buttons to decrease or increase the number of licenses. Alternatively, you can manually enter the desired total number of licenses for your tenant.


6.       After making the necessary changes, click the "Submit changes" button. You will be redirected to the products page, and the updated license quantity will be reflected after a few seconds. Note that it may take a few minutes for changes to take effect.

Note:

Quantity/seats can be increased at any time. However, quantity/seats can be decreased within 72 hours, to its previous or sum of previous quantity/seats and not post that.
